To start, the warm bread with garlic and oil was absolutely phenomenal couldn’t get enough of it. As to food, I would say their sides and appetizers are 5 stars. The table side Caesar salad absolutely hit, and was easily the best Caesar salad I’ve had ever. Their pastas are strong, made in house. The steak is great, not excellent. You can tell they rush the cooking process as the exteriors are burnt. Some people do enjoy this, I do, but not when it isn’t the temperature I asked for. I asked for medium are and they gave me rare almost damn near blue. The lobster was an absolute let down. Tiny, and beyond salty. If you are getting Oscar style go with the crab. For desserts, the tiramisu and olive oil cake are spectacular. Overall for our bill being as high as it was, I will not be back, but for a one time experience Fioretta was decently cool.

The interior is beautiful, with a great blend of Korean design elements and classic Chicago architecture. I also really appreciated that the breakfast menu offers both Korean and Western options, which makes it a great choice for groups with different preferences.
My wife ordered the Korean Breakfast, which included rice, soup, fish, kimchi, and a variety of side dishes. I had the American Breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage, and toast, and I especially enjoyed the Korean sausage patty. My son ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and really enjoyed them as well.
Overall, this was a fantastic breakfast experience and a refreshing change from the typical breakfast spot. Perilla offers something unique while still having options for everyone. We would definitely return.
This place is amazing. If you’re in town you have to go. Not only was the food great but the experience was incredible. It felt like a guided premium journey. They took us to the butcher shop to pick our steaks. They gave us a tour of the salad bar.

I really enjoyed the salad bar and variety of breads. The New York strip steak was cooked just right and the sweet potato hit the spot. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and had a great time.

We love Stake Chophouse! We recently went to Stake in celebration of our anniversary and they did not disappoint. Every food item we have tried on the menu is exceptional and their customer service is unmatched. We really do enjoy going to Stake to celebrate any special occasion because we know we are going to be met with awesome service. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night with its dark, warm and modern-chic vibe. During our recent dinner we go to hear the live music that was being performed in the outdoor seating area and it was so amazing! Stake continues to impress us, and we will always call this establishment one of our favorites. I can’t recommend Stake enough and save room for dessert because it will change your life.

Had the best time at Fioretta! My boyfriend and I spent 36hrs in Chicago and this was the perfect ending to our trip! I booked a table 1-2 weeks in advance and were seated at a high top bar table. The food and drinks were 10/10! We started with a spicy margarita and an old fashioned. The old fashioned had a personalized ice cube with a flower to fit the theme. It was such a curated experience! We had the oysters to start which were delicious! We shared the king crab linguine and the 10oz filet. The linguine was fresh and the steak was cooked to a perfect med-rare. We finished with an espresso martini and were too stuffed for dessert but they brought out a tiramisu with a sparkler to celebrate my bfs birthday. Such a beautiful restaurant! Every moment was so well curated and if we find ourselves in Chicago again this restaurant is a must!

Dinner at the Hotel del Coronado steakhouse on a Wednesday night. No reservation needed — walked right in with a party of 3. The 22 oz dry-aged ribeye was the highlight with a great salt cap sear, though a couple of bites were a little too charred. The mixed mushrooms and Saltspring Island mussels were both excellent and I'd order them again without hesitation. Mini lobster rolls were surprisingly good for someone who doesn't usually go for lobster. Fair warning though — avoid the King Crab Fried Rice. There's an unlisted sauce on it that made the whole dish sour and tart, and our table couldn't finish it. Cool detail: they bring out a collection of steak knives from around the world and let each person pick their own. Service was solid once we were seated, though there was a bit of a gap at the host stand when we first arrived. I'd come back for the steak and sides but keep it simple on the seafood — this place is a steakhouse for a reason.
I lowkey enjoyed Perilla Korean… but the tabletop grill where our meats were cooked did not look clean prior to cooking our meats on it, which was off putting. Also, even with a reservation, we still had to wait, but they did give us a complimentary small drink, which I

Also, even with a reservation, we still had to wait, but they did give us a complimentary small drink, which I appreciated. The rest of the experience was pretty solid. The vibe is immaculate. Perfect date night spot or fun dinner with friends. It is a bit pricey, but some things made it worth it.
The fries? 1000% worth the carbs/calories. And the fried chicken was just as good. The drinks were actually amazing. Service was just OK, nothing special. Overall, I’d come back for the vibes and drinks… just hoping the grill situation is better next time

Morton’s hosted a “Taste of Two Legends” wine dinner featuring pairings from Napa and South America, and the evening was executed beautifully from start to finish. The opening crab with grapefruit and avocado was fresh, bright, and clean — a perfect way to start the night with Sauvignon Blanc. The baked brie tart with wild thyme honey and apricot jam was rich and indulgent without being overwhelming.
The herb-crusted lamb chop with cauliflower purée and cherry jus was outstanding, and the Merlot and Malbec pairing showed how well those wines can play with lamb when done right.
But the highlight of the evening was the prime New York strip with duchesse potatoes and black truffle crema. While Napa Cabernet certainly showed well, the Chilean Cabernet from Maipo Valley ended up stealing the spotlight — balanced, elegant, and absolutely perfect with the steak.
Dessert finished the night with salted caramel crunch cake and a beautifully sweet Muscat from Málaga.
Great food, thoughtful wine pairings, attentive service, and a room full of people clearly enjoying themselves. Nights like this remind you why wine dinners can still be something special.
Would absolutely do it again.

Taste of Texas was an experience of a life time. Starting with our waiter Chase. We visited all the way from Jacksonville, Florida. It was a pretty busy day in the restaraunt, and Chase was outstandingly engaged and available to us regardless. He needs a raise!!! Super personalable, and engaged throughout the "Entire" experience. The steak he personally walked us through and recommended was superb A++. The salad bar, bread selection and sides were also out of this world.
Finally, their restroom is an entire experience on its on. SUPER clean and inviting. If you are looking for an out of this world Restaraunt / Museum type experience... run and not walk to Taste of Texas!!! You will not be disappointed.

I visited Morton’s Steakhouse in San Diego on a Thursday night in September with a party of four, and it was an absolutely wonderful dining experience. We started with the French onion soup and lobster bisque, both of which were rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, we ordered the filet mignon, and I have to say, it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s clear that Morton’s takes great care in preparing their steaks.
For dessert, we tried the cream brûlée. I’ve sampled cream brûlée at many restaurants, but this one stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had. The texture was perfectly smooth, the caramelized top had just the right amount of crispness, and the flavor was delicate yet indulgent.
The interior of the restaurant adds to the overall experience. It has a modern, sophisticated vibe with elegant décor, comfortable seating, and a warm ambiance that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The service was attentive and professional without being intrusive, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Overall, Morton’s Steakhouse in San Diego offers exceptional food, stylish surroundings, and a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality steakhouse experience in the city. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be returning.
